Teaching science has been her passion which brought her to creating her own business selling fun & affordable science toys as Tampa Bay's Science Toy Fundraiser and Science Class provider. Her mission is to inspire a love of Science!

School Day will be Friday, February 6 (registration required) and Public Day will be Saturday, February 7 (free, no registration need)

Ready to unleash your inner scientist and embrace the wonders of the universe? The St. Pete Science Festival is back for another year of hands-on exploration, innovation, and creativity. This free event occurs Saturday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus (140 7th Ave S) and Poynter Park.

Students (grades 4 & up) and their families are invited to learn about Tampa Bay’s unique ecosystem.

Saturday, February 28, Plant Hall at the University of Tampa,

8:30 – 9:00 a.m. Arrival and check in

9:00 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.  Welcome/Keynote*

9:30 – 10:00 Inspiration Stations #1*

What’s happening with our local environment and how can you make a difference? Hear from local environmental experts who will take you on a journey of discovery through our local ecosystems. Learn what it takes to have living shorelines, sustainable cities, and clean water, including examples of projects you can undertake to make a positive impact.

10:15 – 10:45 a.m. Inspiration Stations #2*

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Environmental Expo (FREE)

*A registration fee of $10 per child is required for the Keynote and Inspiration Stations (parents/chaperones free).  The Environmental Expo is free and open to the public.
